New Accessible Fast-Charging Station Opens in Horn
AMIC Energy has installed six ultra-fast charging stations on the grounds of the Shopping Horn shopping center. These stations are operated by SMATRICS.
Electric vehicle drivers now have access to another public fast-charging station in the heart of the Waldviertel region. Investor AMIC Energy has installed the new fast-charging stations on the grounds of the Shopping Horn shopping center, located at Am Kuhberg 7. With 33,000 m² of retail space, Shopping Horn is the third-largest shopping and specialty retail center in Lower Austria; it is managed by KGAL Asset Management Austria, which also manages 18 other specialty retail and shopping centers throughout Austria.
KGAL Asset Management, AMIC Energy, and SMATRICS are continuing their successful partnership at the charging park in Horn, taking another step toward modern, sustainable, and inclusive mobility. Electric vehicle drivers now have access to six state-of-the-art charging stations with a power output of up to 200 kW. These are perfectly tailored to the typical length of stay at the shopping center. In addition, all charging stations are designed to be accessible: wide reserved areas in front of the charging stations, clear markings, and wider access points make parking, operating, and charging easier for all users.
Ronald Lausch, CSO at SMATRICS, emphasizes: “Electric vehicle drivers should be able to get around easily at all times. With the new fast-charging stations in the parking lot of this popular shopping center, we’re expanding public charging options and enabling customers to charge their vehicles easily and conveniently while they shop.” SMATRICS is also responsible for all behind-the-scenes services, from operation and maintenance to the 24/7 service hotline and all billing solutions.
