Data processing in the V-Go App

Protecting your personal data is particularly important to us. This is why we process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable statutory regulations, namely the national Federal Act concerning the Protection of Personal Data 2018 (DSG), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Act enacting a Telecommuncations Act (TKG 2021). This privacy policy informs you about the most important aspects of data processing relating to your use of our website and the use of our products and services.

General information about this data processing:

As part of this data processing, we use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications to you.

Categories of data processed and categories of data subjects:

This data processing exclusively concerns V-Go App users.

Within the scope of this data processing, we process the following categories of personal data: 

Identification data (Firebase Installation IDs, push tokens, IP address), technical device and system data, and interaction data.

Purposes of data processing:

The purpose of data processing is to deliver notifications about the product, the V-Go App, and information about any disruptions or interruptions.

Legal basis of data processing:

We process the categories of data listed above based on your consent pursuant to Art 6 (1) point a GDPR.

Duration of data processing:

All data will be processed until you withdraw your consent.

Recipients:

The data processed in this data processing will be transmitted exclusively to our processor Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

In the event of litigation, we will also share your data with law firms and/or courts or with a service provider for debt collection.

There are no other recipients of your data in this data processing.

General information about this data processing:

This data processing concerns error analysis and troubleshooting in the V-Go App using Google Firebase Crashlytics.

This data processing takes place exclusively if an error occurs in the V-Go App. In this case, the data required for this purpose is sent to us so that the error can be analysed and resolved. In all other cases, no data is processed within the scope of this data processing.

This data processing exclusively concerns V-Go App users.

Within the scope of this data processing, we process the following categories of personal data:

Identification data (Crashlytics Installation UUID, Firebase Installation ID, IP address), data relating to your end device and the app version (e.g. device model, operating system), and data relating to the error itself (e.g. crash trace).

Purposes of data processing:

The purpose of data processing is to resolve errors in the V-Go App.

Legal basis of data processing:

We process the categories of data listed above based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art 6 (1) point f GDPR.

Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the error-free operation of the app and in providing an error-free app.

Duration of data processing:

The aforementioned information is stored for 90 days and then deleted.

Recipients:

The data processed in the context of this data processing is transmitted exclusively to our data processor Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

In the event of legal disputes, we also disclose your data to law firms and/or courts or to a service provider for debt collection.

There are no other recipients of your data in this data processing.

General information about this data processing:

Within the scope of this data processing, we use Google Firebase Remote Config to provide and update configuration information for the V-Go App.

We use Google Firebase Remote Config exclusively to keep the charging station list and the display of charging stations on the map up to date. We do not use Google Firebase Remmote Config otherwise.

This data processing exclusively concerns V-Go App users.

Within the scope of this data processing, we process the following categories of personal data: 

Identification data (Firebase Installation ID).

Purposes of data processing:

The purpose of the data processing is to provide up-to-date information on charging stations.

Legal basis of data processing:

We process the categories of data listed above based on the performance of (pre-)contractual measures pursuant to Art 6 (1) point b GDPR and based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art 6 (1) point f GDPR.

Our legitimate interest lies in providing continuously up-to-date information on charging stations and thereby enabling charging.

Duration of data processing:

All data will be stored until 180 days after termination of the contract.

Thereafter, only those data will continue to be stored which are required to be stored in order to comply with statutory storage obligations, in particular pursuant to Section 132 (1) of the Federal Tax Code (in german: „Bundesabgabenordnung“). The mandatory storage of this data is based on Art 6 (1) point c and Art 6 (1) point f GDPR. The legitimate interest of us in this case is the fulfillment of legal storage obligations.

Recipients:

The data relating to this data processing will be transmitted exclusively to our data processor Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

In the event of legal disputes, we will also disclose your data to law firms and/or courts or to a service provider for debt collection.

There are no other recipients of your data in this data processing.

As a data subject, you have various rights. Below you will find a short description of the rights to which you are entitled as a data subject.

 

Right to access

You have the right to request information about the personal data processed. This right to information also includes your right to request a copy of the personal data about you.

 

Right to rectification

You have the right to request us to correct any inaccurate personal data concerning you and also the right to request us to complete any incomplete personal data concerning you.

 

Right to erasure

Under the circumstances established by law, you have the right to request from us the deletion of the personal data concerning you.

 

Right to restriction

In the circumstances established by law, you have the right to request from us the restriction of the processing of personal data concerning you.

 

Right to data portability

In the circumstances established by law, you have the right to request us to transfer the personal data concerning you to another controller or to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

 

Right to object

For reasons arising from your particular situation, you have the right to object to processing at any time, provided that our processing is based on Art 6 (1) point e GDPR, Art 6 (1) point f GDPR or if we do profiling.

 

Right to complain

If you believe that our processing of personal data concerning you violates applicable data protection law, you have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority.

Right to withdraw consent

If data processing is based on consent given by you, you may withdraw this consent at any time by writing an informal e-mail to support@smatrics.com stating that you withdraw your consent. This option exists besides any special withdrawal options, such as buttons in e-mails.

Please note that the withdraw of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing until the consent is withdrawed.

 

Profiling and automated decision in individual cases

Profiling or an automated decision individual decision-making does not take place.

This privacy policy will be updated continuously according to the further development of our services. Changes to our website will be announced in good time before they are implemented.
